This triple brick house, built in 1872, features a unique centre hall plan. It has a mix of Georgian/Italianate/Victorian architecture, as did many Ontario homes of this time.
Cranberry House was opened as a bed and breakfast 14 years ago and is still operated as such by Terry and Roy.
All rooms at Cranberry House are furnished in period Victorian furniture from the 1850s to the 1880s, as are the light fixtures. The dining room table is set with blue flow dinner service from the late 1880s.
Enjoy the lovely gardens with many perennials from the Victorian period. |
