This 1950’s house was a quality structure and had ‘good bones’ but it needed updating. The small kitchen seemed cramped with little storage and separated from the family space. By opening up the joining wall and adding an island, the rooms flowed together. Now entertaining is a joy! The floor to ceiling window in the living room displays the gardens with both pond and river views. In warm weather the house expands to include outdoor cooking, eating and entertaining areas beside the gardens. |
