A poem Lioness Delores wrote while waiting for guests on Cranberry’s front porch:

Welcome Home the Name of the Tour
To view the beautiful things of others

The gardens and entries, the greetings therein
The sharing of memories displayed with caring

They came in twos and threes and fours
All ready and anxious to go through the door

They noticed each and every living thing
From smiling peonies and chimes that ring

The smiles and laughter of friends together
The comments and happiness of such wonderful weather

The knowledge and history at each new location
Much like a forgotten European Vacation

Inspiring people to spend much more time
With their personal spaces themselves to refine

Dreams and wishes ideas galore
Paintings, murals and artifacts, so much to adore

Meeting and greeting of friends old and new
Under trees so majestic and rare plants in full view

Stories to tell and memories that sing
These are just a few of the wonderful things

Today was a treasure, a moment of bliss
At our first Welcome Home Tour, sealed with a Kiss

Congratulations everyone on a very successful event; a wonderful day! With thanks to our hosts for opening their homes and their hearts to everyone!
